Centering Thought: As the Buddha taught the middle way, I know all things are possible with balance and mindfulness. Today I travel the middle way.
The middle way is a founding principle in Buddhism and was revealed to the Buddha after pushes his practice to a dangerous and unhealthy limit on his way to enlightenment. Most of us can relate as we take ourselves to extremes to accomplish the results we want in the fastest possible timeframe either depriving ourselves or overindulging. The Buddha experienced both periods in his life finding balance, and traveling along the middle way was the best path to success.
As you go through your day, examine your processes and tune your energy and focus to a more balanced and nurturing one, delivering a sustainable practice to tackle all that comes your way.
